Dave Chambers

Distinguished Service Award

Dave Chambers is honored for his work as chair of DRCOG’s Transportation Advisory Committee in 2010 and 2011. Always well prepared and skillful at running meetings, he kept the committee focused on the topics at hand and their regional implications. The committee, under his leadership, tackled some key issues, such as the 2012-2017 Transportation Improvement Program and the 2035 Metro Vision Regional Transportation Plan update. Dave was also involved with the Colorado Department of Transportation, RTD and other planning partners to implement important transportation improvements in the 1-225 corridor and Fitzsimons campus area.
